NIAPN worked together with other anti-poverty groups and children’s organisations to write a briefing for MLAs in order to keep the focus on child poverty and help empower policy makers to put forward evidenced proposals for concrete initiatives and policies that will improve the lives of children and their families.
The following briefing contains both research evidence and policy context for the debate and the proposals set out in the motion.
The plenary session debate can be read here, beginning at 12.15pm.
