The Women’s Support Network, Save the Children NI, the Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Network, and Dr. Ciara Fitzpatrick Ulster University used the draft anti-poverty strategy consultation period to engage with people with lived experience of poverty in conversations about the draft Anti-Poverty Strategy.
It is vital that the experience and expertise of those experiencing poverty – including children – is systematically incorporated into the development, implementation and review of anti-poverty strategy.
Below we have condensed the responses of 145 people with lived experience of poverty.
